Good time, stopped!

When the crowd is having a good time and the cops (Cops = Orleans Sheriff's Office or Louisiana State Police or New Orleans Police) want is to end the good time, or at least slow it down, then the horses come out. The cops came and posted up in front of the balcony and that usually slows down the action but on this occasion the horse had other plans. The cop and horse stood there within a few moments the horse shitted and pissed, take a look. This horse left it all, and then some, on the street and it stunk. It stunk so bad we just left and went down a few blocks. We returned about an hour later and the horse and rider was gone, but it still had a hint of the horse in the air and on the ground.

So tourist the next time you want to reach down and pick up a few beads from the ground on Bourbon Street remember this.
