2016 Mardi Gras Sucked!

Oh My God, 2016 Mardi Gras Sucked! It was too cold and way too early! Spring Breakers were not there and it sucked also my favorite parking lot went pay first. I was not ready to pay first and it ruined my 1st evening. Once I got the system I was okay.

The Truth

2014's Mardi Gras sucked! It was not the old Mardi Gras, bitches begging wanting beads and not wanting to flash. Just "give me, give me, give me." I'll go through some pics and post until next Mardi Gras, but it may not be what you want or expect.

Camera count

Can you count the camera? There is no shortage of Cameras on Bourbon Street. Mardi Gras on Bourbon Street is not for the shy. I you are an Attention Junky then Mardi Gras is your place.

She’s got a Name

I know she has a name, and I know the name. I just don’t know her name right now. Any way this is Mardi Gras day’s official uniform and little as possible. I think the young lady is dressed very nicely, don’t you.

2014

Wow only 11 days have passed. Happy New Year and I am in final stages to prep for the website.

What a day

Today I went to two new places looking for Mardi Gras items and I racked up! I got brooches, flags (large and small), bracelets and Doubloons (Nothing new or great). I went to the two new places out of town and found other items not related to Mardi Gras as well and it was great. I was a new face for the workers and they did not know how to approach me so the ignored me.

I am also ready for all the Naughty Nurses I meet on Bourbon Street, but are they ready for me?

Boas

I have no idea what is up with the Boas’, but the ladies like them, oh do they like them. I had a few to trade, but once I got rid of them I did not get any more. The Boas are ichy and some smelled. But the ladies love them.

The Art of Negotiation

The art of the negotiation on Bourbon Street is not difficult unless you are a greedy person or dealing with a greedy person; One display of the breast for one strand of beads. Simple or so you would think. I have seen this simple process go so horribly wrong. Girls wanting multiple strands of beads for one flash of their breast.

Know what you want for your beads. Sit down and think what you want for your beads, being realistic. [I want a flash, I want a long flash, I want to see your pussy.] Know what you want for the beads before you are asked “What do you want for these beads?”

Before we go any further lets define the world “Flash”, a Bourbon Street “flash” is a 5-10 second display of the breast or genitals (showing items below the waist and above the knees is illegal, but tolerated on Bourbon Street for females, males go directly to jail). Simple, but some young ladies take the word flash to heart and flash and get nothing the deal is blown. I put it simply, “I want a good flash for the camera.” No camera no beads.

In recap; keep the negotiation simple and to the point. Know what you want for your beads and say want you want. The answer will be either yes or no, more often yes.

Thongs

Everyone has to love a nice pair of thongs and purple during Mardi Gras just makes it better.

The Box

Well I got a Box of Mardi Gras beads, my wife’s work has a float and I needed some cheap beads quick. To my surprise in the box was some very nice keepers. I have a collection of rare beads.

The krewes represented are: Artemis, Iris, Endymion (2005), Tucks (2005), Triton, Orion (2007 & 2011), Zulu & Muses.

The Chuck E. Cheese Birthday medallion, I just like. (It was also inside the box.)

The Box was full of some nice beads and maybe 5% was broken, that could have been fixed if you had a little time.
